Apple Harvest

Every year Jennifer and I have a heated discussion about when the apples are ready for harvest. I inevitably want to wait too long, and she would rather pick them too early. This year we’ve got a bumper crop, and now five years into living in our Sammamish abode I think we’ve timed it just right.

Elliott climbed the ladder and assisted with the lower hanging fruit. We improvised and used garden tools to reach even more. My guess is the low count of squirrels this year allowed for such a good harvest. Now to figure out what to do with all these apples…
